Wombat Hat

A work colleague has given me the challenge of making a babies Wombat Hat! After many sketches, and a bit of trial and error to get the features right, I've finished the little wombat.

Christmas Nozy Nose Warmers

These are a bit of a lark, but surprisingly useful on cold days. (I would never wear mine out of the house, but some people might). They are basically a crocheted dome with straps that wrap around your ears. Like a cozy for your nozy. I've just made some festive ones in red and cream and plain red.

Here is the scanned page from today's West Australian. Mine are numbers 4, 5 & 7.

It was cool today to see some of my work in The West Australian newspaper today! My Owl Hat, Kitty Cat Hat and Three Peas in a Pod made their appearance amongst other awesome knitted/crocheted goodies.

Cowls

While the weather's getting warmer down under, things are cooling down in the north. I've designed and made the perfect cowl (I think :-)) for snuggling into a cold day. I make them super big and chunky so you can also pull it up over your head to wear like a hood. My lastest cowl shown here is in buttercream wool blend.

I finally got around to making myself a little website. It's very simple and plain, but something to start with. Check it out and tell me what you think?

Turquoise and Royal Purple

Royal purple and Turquoise are my two favourite colours right now! (Apart from the ubiquitous black, of course). So I've made and just listed to etsy, my latest pairs of fingerless mittens in these awesome colours.
